On January 20, Jingmen was hit by severe freezing rain and heavy snowfall, posing a serious challenge to production. All employees of Jubang Company rose to the occasion, efficiently pushing ahead with the resumption of operations at the VC plant under the overall guidance of the general manager, thereby strengthening our defenses against cold weather and ensuring continued production.

The resumption of operations at the VC facility coincided with a severe cold wave. The combination of freezing rain and heavy snowfall dramatically increased the difficulty of on-site operations and significantly raised the risks associated with equipment operation. As the resumption of work fell right in the midst of this cold snap, both operational challenges and equipment risks soared. The company swiftly activated its emergency response mechanism; management personnel took turns standing guard on the front lines around the clock, providing frontline guidance and making precise coordination efforts to ensure solid organizational support for the resumption of production. Frontline employees adhered to a “two-shift, two-team” rotation system, staying steadfast at their posts despite wind and snow and braving extreme cold. They performed their tasks with meticulous precision and conducted thorough inspections, demonstrating through their hard work the sense of responsibility and commitment that defines the JUBANG spirit.

As work resumes, various unexpected situations have been cropping up frequently. “Jubang Heroes” have stepped forward: To ensure product quality, under the guidance of external driving experts, they’ve thoroughly cleaned debris from reactors, desolventization towers, product towers, and all intermediate storage tanks. While maintaining safety, Li Hongtao volunteered to enter the tanks himself to remove residual residues. The equipment and electrical instrumentation teams have been on 24-hour standby to guarantee the smooth operation of equipment and unblock critical bottlenecks in the resumption of work. Employees have been sharing operational experience with each other; for instance, Sha Jia Ting has proactively worked overtime to explain centrifuge operating procedures and techniques to other team members.

The smooth progress of this cold-resistant and production-ensuring effort highlights the JUBANG team’s spirit of daring to take on tough challenges and working tirelessly.
